 I've loved photos since I can remember. I took photos with my grandmas point and shoot camera and disposables for years. Flowers in her garden and her dogs were the most common photos in mix! Through my 20's I would take photos for my friends families that were growing. I also did a lot of landscapes and nature photography. Mostly because my confidence wasn't there to take photos for people I didn't know!

Then becoming a mom, and caring for my grandma through her journey with dementia, experiencing all the ups and downs that come with life gave me a deep appreciation for portrait photography.

Photos matter, They tell our stories, preserve our memories, and become more valuable with every passing year.

If I ever had to leave my house in a hurry, my photo albums would be one of the first things I'd grab %100!

I'm a country girl at heart, living in an old character home tucked into the forests of Coombs on Vancouver Island with my husband, our two kids, and whatever farm animals we seem to have at the time.

These days we're focused on making memories, exploring new places, and soaking up as much adventure as we can! Oh also, Chocolate, wine and laughs is the way to my heart.
